Mission Statement: We
seek to lift high the cross of Jesus Christ. We believe that Christ is the
center of our religion and that salvation rests in Him. We have sinned against
God but Christ was lifted high upon the cross to earn our forgiveness as He
suffered in our place. Through faith in Him we have forgiveness of sins, life,
and salvation. We believe that the Holy Spirit brings us to faith in Christ
Jesus and then keeps us in that faith by His Word and Sacraments. We,
therefore, believe that worship is very important and that in the Divine
Service, God speaks to us through that Word and those Sacraments.

Calvary is located only a few blocks away from the SDSU campus on the corner of
7th Street and 9th Avenue. We would also like to inform you that 6th Street/Hwy
14 is currently undergoing construction between Interstate 90 and Medary
