Vicar Keith Witte and his wife Alison arrived Wednesday, June 27th. The Rite of Induction was held July 1st. Please welcome them as they make Mt. Calvary of Brookings their new home for the year.
Student Visitations
Mormons? Jehovah's Witnesses? No, just your friendly Lutheran Student Fellowship friend stopping by for a visit.
This fall we are doing something new. Teams of two veteran LSF members will be contacting and visiting prospective members to extend invitations to them and for some friendly chit-chat. The teams of two will also be dropping off a gift to all who accept their friendly invite to chat. So please don't be scared of them, they are nice and come baring gifts and wanting you to have fellowship with them and the Lord too. It doesn't get any better than that! The Vicar would also like to meet you in the Union for a few minutes to answer any questions you might have.

Concordia Publishing House has recently published Blessings & Prayers for College Students: A Devotional Companion. It is a small book that contains a liturgy for daily prayer, selections of hymns, canticles, psalms, Scripture lessons, and prayers for just about any occasion that can come up, along with Luther's Small Catechism.
