Choirs at Mt. Calvary
Adult Choir
Adult Choir is open to all congregational members and LSF students who have an
interest in serving our Lord through voice. We meet Wednesday evenings at 7:00
p.m. (or briefly after Advent and Lenten services) in the church
balcony as we normally sing during both services at least once a month.
Normally we meet September through May. For more information or
questions, please contact director Ronda May at 693-3065.
Bell Choir
Currently, Mt. Calvary uses a 2-octave bell set and we are not in need of
additional ringers. If you are interested in joining the bell choir in the
future or would like to donate for a possible third octave, please contact
director Ronda May at 693-3065!
Solo and Ensemble
Occasionally, vocal and instrumental solo or ensembles are used during
services. We currently utilize brass, woodwind, and piano instrumentation. If
you would like to volunteer for this opportunity please speak with Pastor Naasz
or Choir Director Ronda May.
Sunday School Choirs
Since we have been blessed with a large number of Sunday School students here
at Mt. Calvary, we divide our students into two separate choirs. Our Younger
Choir involves our Nursery Classes through 3rd Grade and is directed by Ronda
May. Our Older Choir utilizes our 4th through 8th Grades and is directed by
Arlene Naasz. The choirs rotate on a weekly basis to practice church hymnody in
the sanctuary and each choir usually will sing during services once a month.
